  • All the money Lions raise from the community is spent on projects for the community, but it takes money to run the Lions organisation so there is a financial cost to members to cover this administration and for the District and National Lions magazines. These fees are collected twice a year and, depending on the club, are usually around $2.00 per week. You also need to allow for the cost of the clubs dinner meetings, normally once or twice a month.
  • When you join Lions you are expected to contribute to the club's work in its community
  • Membership of Lions is open to men and women over the age of 18 years and of good moral character and reputation, but is by invitation only.

If you are happy with these points and are willing to commit your time, labour and means to helping the less fortunate in your community let's organise that invitation.
